Jill took her first yoga class during law school and then practiced intermittently with Tricia Fleming --first in a church basement-- and then at the Twisters studio. Jill was a dedicated tennis player and runner for many years, but only yoga left her with the feeling that body and mind were re-unified and in balance. Jill completed the 200 hour teacher training led by Tricia Fleming and Tammy Dinda where she learned principles of alignment, breath work and the philosophical underpinnings of yoga. Jill also holds a Master’s Degree in Education and is excited to combine her teaching experience with her newfound knowledge of yoga. She plans to continue her own study of yoga, meditation, mindfulness and eastern philosophy since she firmly believes that yoga is instruction for life on and off the mat. Take your yoga practice one step further by adding hand weights! This class combines all of the traditional yoga poses, while also allowing for increased strengthening in the upper torso and core. Hand weights are optional and all levels are welcome! Add a boost to your practice and leave class feeling strong, centered and energized!
