Tammy loves to exercise so, 14 years ago when Tricia Fleming (studio owner) asked her to come to a yoga class, she did. Fourteen years later Tammy is still practicing yoga. In 2008 she completed a 200 hour teacher training and in 2014 she completed a 500 hour teacher training at Dig Yoga in Lambertville, NJ.
 
Tammy’s classes are fun, upbeat, alignment centered classes. She teaches students of all ages and abilities and welcomes all new students. She is thankful for her students and teachers who have taught and supported her on her yoga journey. She is especially grateful to Sue Elkind and Naime Jezzeny for their guidance and support for the last 7 years. When Tammy is not on her mat she is home with her funny husband and her 3 loving, active, and messy children.

    Hatha yoga provides students with a safe and supportive environment to explore optimal physical alignment in yoga poses. Students will move slowly and mindfully, deepening their understanding of poses while quieting the mind through this breath focused practice.  Because this style has less weight bearing activity for the upper body it is perfect for students who are newer to yoga or recovering from upper body injuries.

    - Seniors.
    - Students healing from an injury or with an injury.
    - Intermediate students deepening current practice with alignment work.
    - Pilates and Barre students adding a supporting practice.

    Interested in trying Yoga but you don't know where to start? You've come to the right place! We've created the perfect way to get started with our monthly Yoga 101 Workshop Series. It is specially designed for people brand new to Yoga but it's also great for novices who want to review the basics. Yoga is appropriate for just about anyone. You don't need to be flexible to start, you simply need the desire to show up and do your best. This series offers an easy and comfortable way for newcomers to begin their own practice and increase confidence on the mat.
     
    In this 4 week (8 Sessions) Workshop Series, we will explore the key elements that make up the practice of Hatha Yoga, including:
     
    - Yoga's Basic Postures with Proper Alignment.
    - The Role & Importance of Breath in the Practice of Yoga.
    - Techniques for Enhancing a Sense of Moving Meditation for Focus, Stress-Relief, & Relaxation.
     
    At the conclusion of the workshop, students will be prepared for all of the Classic Hatha Level I/II classes on our schedule. Students will also receive amazing benefits including:
