Ballet Burn Goes Hard-Core - 4 Sundays - Intensive Series
 
*For intermediate and advanced "Burners"*
 
If you ever thought a Ballet Burn class challenging...Dare taking the "Burn" to "INFERNO"? Each hour and a half class will be broken into three - 30 minute segments, that will increasingly become more challenging.The first 30 minute segment will contain a perfect recipe of intense Ballet exercises to ignite the flame.In the second segment, we will take those same exercises and turn up the heat on them.By the third segment, we will be at a whole new level that no "burner" has ever gone before, a blazing inferno!Come on! Be "core"ageous ... and dedicate six hours in May to getting your bod bikini ready!

cient Chinese art of QiGong in our 4 week series beginning this June. QiGong can serve as a wonderful compliment to your current yoga & exercise regimen, and it is something that can be practiced for the rest of your life.

QiGong: (pronounced Chee Kong) is a Chinese term meaning "energy work or art" as in an art or practice that is cultivated over time. QiGong can be a type of exercise, healing art and meditation. In this workshop, you will experience various powerful (yet low impact) QiGong exercise systems. These systems have been described as a cross between Tai Chi & Yoga offering similar benefits and easier to do than both! In this workshop you will experience 4 QiGong systems: The 8 Pieces of Brocade; The 12 Muscle/Tendon Change Classics; 5 Animal Frolics; and the 6 Goose QiGong.

Bill Simpson has been studying Tai Chi & QiGong for over 20 years and has been a gifted teacher for over 15 years. Bill discovered Tai Chi & QiGong in 1991 while looking for a way to handle the stress of doing a corporate radio morning show. Learning these arts was life changing. Not only does he handle stress much better, he has more energy, flexibility and focus. He also feels that he is in the best shape of his adult life. Tai Chi & QiGong helped change Bill's life and it just might change yours!

It's time to give yoga a try and share in the benefits! We've created the perfect way to get started with our monthly Yoga 101 Workshop Series. It is specially designed for people brand new to yoga but it's also great for novices who want to review the basics. Yoga is appropriate for just about anyone. You don't need to be flexible to start, you simply need the desire to show up and do your best. In this 4 week (8 Class) workshop series, we will explore the key elements that make up the practice of Hatha yoga, including:

  • Yoga's Basic Postures with Proper Alignment
  • The Role & Importance of Breath in the Practice of Yoga
  • Techniques for Enhancing a Sense of Moving Meditation for Focus & Relaxation

At the conclusion of the workshop, students will be prepared for all the Level I/II classes on our schedule. This series offers an easy and comfortable way for newcomers to begin their own practice.

Days: Mondays & Wednesdays (8:10 - 9:10 PM)

Duration: 8 Classes over 4 Weeks
